Here are a few of the ways our community is supported. Let us know if you’d like to be a part of the joy that is service.
Fellowship
Fellowship Committee
This is the group that plans and organizes all the parties including our Thanksgiving Dinners, Lutheran Potlucks, High School and College Graduation Receptions, Lenten Soup and Sandwich Suppers, Confirmation Receptions, and Friendship Sundays. When we want to celebrate, this is the committee we turn to! If you would like to get involved, please contact the church office.
Men’s Fellowship
Our men meet very periodically (they tell us!) for the purpose of planning trips to ballgames, our annual college scholarship benefit golf outing, Turkey Shoot, and other events. This group also sponsors our Easter Breakfast. For more information, please contact the church office.
Youth Group
The Youth Group is open to all youth in Grades 7 through 12. They meet Wednesday nights from 4-6pm and the first Sunday of each month for fellowship and to plan events and activities. Annual events include: (The Super Secret) New Members’ Initiation, Sweet Tooth Auction, Chili Cook-off (featuring the coveted “Golden Cooking Pot” award!), Orphan Grain Train Service Project, the Junior High Youth Ralley Camp Lakeview, and Mother’s Day Breakfast. They also travel and occasionally get locked-out. Visit their page to learn more.
Please contact the church office for information on any youth event.
